Forensic scientists study and explain evidence related to criminal and civil litigation, using scientifically accepted methods and supportably measurable data to reconstruct crime and accident scenes and the activities that took place at them, and to evaluate the claims of prosecutors and defendants (in criminal cases) or plaintiffs and defendants (in civil litigation). Over the last twenty-five years, Ebert & Associates, Inc. has applied expertise in, and testified regarding, photointerpretation, image processing, photogrammetry, digital surveying, digital mapping and analysis, computer visualization and animation to facilitate the use of photographic and other imaged data in a wide range of forensic investigations.

Since 1977, Dr. Ebert had used this approach in more than 500 cases in a number of aspects of forensic science including:

Accident Scene Mapping

Product Liability

Police Excessive Force

Fires and Explosions
